Job Title: Subject Matter Expert Multimedia (Graphics, UI/UX, Web)

Role Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and research-driven Subject Matter Expert Multimedia to spearhead the creation of cutting-edge educational content in the fields of Graphic Design, UI/UX, and Web Design. You will be instrumental in designing and delivering video-based learning (microlearning and long-form), conducting masterclasses, and upskilling academic faculty. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape the next generation of digital creatives in India.

Ideal candidates should have a strong command of design and visual communication principles, be fluent in spoken and written English, and have a demonstrated ability to simplify complex design concepts for learners. Familiarity with evolving design technologies, including Generative AI tools, is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Development

• Design and develop structured Multimedia learning modules in formats such as video, eBooks, and interactive tools.
• Create both microlearning and long-form content aligned with current industry standards and learner outcomes.
• Write accurate, well-researched content, scripts, and storyboards tailored for Multimedia and Design education.

Academic Engagement

• Conduct engaging Masterclasses, Guest Lectures, and Workshops for students across institutions.
• Mentor students on real-world design projects, UI/UX case studies, and capstone assignments.
• Facilitate faculty development programs to enhance teaching methodologies and tech fluency.
• Support student teams participating in design and multimedia competitions like 24FPS International Animation Awards and MAAC Creative League.

Industry Research & Curriculum Innovation

• Stay current with the latest tools, platforms, and trends in design, UI/UX, web development, and creative technologies.
• Integrate Generative AI and automation tools into curriculum design wherever relevant.
• Perform ongoing research on global trends in Multimedia education to ensure curriculum relevance.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with Instructional Designers, Visual Designers, Writers, and other SMEs to develop immersive content experiences.
• Partner with industry and academic experts to keep learning content aligned with AVGC and digital design industry demands.

Flexibility & Growth

• Willingness to work under tight timelines and across different content delivery formats.
• Continuously upskill in emerging tools, design systems, and pedagogical techniques.

Candidate Profile

Education:

Any formal or informal education in Design, Communication, or related fields is acceptable. Practical expertise matters most.

Experience:

• 38 years of hands-on experience in design studios, digital agencies, or product teams.
• Experience in teaching, mentoring, or curriculum creation is highly desirable.

Language Skills:

Strong in spoken and written English, with the ability to clearly articulate and simplify technical and conceptual design topics.
