ABOUT THE ROLE

Purpose of the Role: To develop high-quality, interactive, and comprehensive content focusing on advanced Java Full Stack & Python and software engineering subjects, aligning with current industry demands and business objectives.

Key Deliverables

• Develop curriculum and interactive content covering key Java Full Stack topics, including HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, ES6, TypeScript, Angular, JavaScript, Core Java 8, Design Patterns, DevOps (Git, Jenkins, SonarQube), SQL, JDBC, JPA with Hibernate, Spring Framework, and Spring Microservices.
• Develop curriculum and interactive content covering essential Python Full Stack topics, including HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, ES6, TypeScript, Angular, JavaScript, core and advanced Python (Object-Oriented Programming, Iterators, Generators, Decorators), RESTful API development using Flask or Django, SQL, PostgreSQL/MySQL, ORM frameworks such as SQLAlchemy or Django ORM, DevOps tools including Git, Jenkins, Docker, and SonarQube, implementation of CI/CD pipelines, design and development of microservices using Flask or Django REST Framework, unit testing with PyTest or Unittest, and deployment of applications on AWS or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Create eLearning modules and hands-on exercises, case studies, and a capstone project for a comprehensive Java development experience.
• Ensure content is consistently updated on the LMS and aligns with instructional design principles to enhance learner engagement and effectiveness.

Job responsibility

• Design training manuals, self-paced online modules, and course materials spanning foundational to advanced Java topics and software engineering best practices.
• Evaluate and select relevant training materials, leveraging real-world applications in Java & Python, microservices, DevOps, and database management.
• Apply principles of adult learning and instructional design (e.g., ADDIE) to create interactive and practical learning experiences.
• Utilize the Learning Management System (LMS) to manage, track, and enhance the learner experience.
• Integrate multimedia elements (e.g., video demonstrations, simulations) to support complex technical topics like Spring Boot, Stream API, and design patterns.
• Assess learner progress through quizzes, assignments, and feedback mechanisms, iterating on content based on performance data.
• Deliver occasional training sessions, ensuring clarity on challenging Java, Python and software engineering concepts.
• Conduct training for the new hired trainers & TEMs
• Conduct quarterly, half yearly and yearly refresher training for the existing trainers & TEMs
• Take training batches in case the trainer is not available
• Upskill on multiple technologies as and when it is available

EXPECTED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Education Qualifications

• BE/B-Tech/M-Tech in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Prior Work Experience

• 8+ years in software engineering, Java development, or technical content development.

• In-depth expertise in Java & Python Full Stack technologies, including HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, TypeScript, Frontend Framework
• Proven experience in designing content for software development and engineering topics.
• Proficiency in instructional design for technical subjects, with experience in authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
• Strong organizational skills with a rapid learning ability in advanced programming and instructional methodologies.
• Proficient with LMS platforms and familiarity with instructional methodologies like ADDIE for course design.
