Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Lab Technician: Field to join our healthcare team. This role goes beyond routine sample collection and requires active participation in field operations, including traveling across the country to support partner labs and clinics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for blood collection, device handling, training lab personnel, and providing on-ground technical support, while ensuring smooth and efficient lab operations. The posting will be based in Bhubaneshwar, with an initial 1-week training program at Noida.

Qualification:

BMLT or DMLT (mandatory)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Travel extensively to labs, clinics, and healthcare facilities across the country to provide operational and technical support

  2. Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture or capillary puncture techniques

  3. Install, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain devices such as CBC and Biochemistry Analysers, ensuring minimal downtime in labs

  4. Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of sample collection and processing

  5. Accurately perform pipetting tasks, including:

  6. Measuring and transferring precise volumes of blood or other fluids

  7. Handling and preparing samples for testing or analysis

  8. Maintaining accurate records of pipetting activities

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or phlebotomy certification preferred

  • 02 years of experience in lab operations, phlebotomy, or field technical support; fresh graduates with strong technical training may also apply

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical software

Must Have:-

  1. Can do demonstration, training of other technicians, Installation Of Device, Basic troubleshooting and Maintenance of CBC and Biochemistry Analyser.

  2. Hands-on skills in installation, basic troubleshooting, and maintenance of diagnostic devices (CBC and Biochemistry Analysers)

  3. Field Work Ready: Willingness and ability to conduct fieldwork as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in various environments.

  4. Willingness to Travel: Prepared to stay in other states for extended periods as needed to support project requirements
