Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Manager IT (GT) to lead and drive sales through General Trade (traditional retail, regional distributors, and resellers). The role involves achieving revenue targets, expanding market presence, and managing key channel partners to deliver consistent business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies for IT products in the General Trade channel.
- Drive revenue and profitability by achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Identify, onboard, and manage distributors, resellers, and retail partners across assigned territories.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, ensuring smooth supply chain and credit management.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends to recommend strategic actions.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of sales executives / territory managers.
- Plan and execute promotional activities, schemes, and product visibility initiatives in GT markets.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to company policies.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, MIS reports, and market intelligence to management.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of IT products (laptops, desktops, peripherals, accessories, networking, etc.).
- In-depth knowledge of GT / traditional trade distribution network.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Team management and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
Qualification & Experience:
- Graduate / MBA (Sales & Marketing preferred)
- 510 years in Sales / Business Development (preferably in IT hardware, peripherals, or consumer electronics in General Trade channel).

- Age: Not more than 35 years.
