About the Role
As the
Growth and Community Lead
, you'll drive Kumpanio's growth across online and offline channels while building our first local community in Gurgaon. This role blends growth marketing, user acquisition, and emotional storytelling to help people discover and trust a new kind of connection.
Your work will bring warmth, safety, and belonging to everything users experience with Kumpanio.
What You'll Do
- Lead all growth and acquisition efforts across digital and community channels
- Develop and manage social media strategy with a warm, human tone
- Run early paid and organic campaigns, testing messaging for engagement and retention
- Guide SEO and improve website content for visibility and clarity
- Build and nurture a trusted local companion community in Mumbai and Bangalore
- Create partnerships with wellness spaces, local groups, and aligned organisations
- Turn user insights and emotional stories into authentic brand content
- Collaborate closely with the founder and product team to keep messaging real and consistent
- Maintain the clarity that Kumpanio is purely platonic and built on safety and respect

You're curious about people, comfortable with creativity, and driven by empathy. You know how to connect data with emotion and love seeing your work make a real difference.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Psychology, Communications, Sociology, Business, or a related field
- 2–3 years of experience in growth marketing, community building, or brand strategy
- Hands-on experience with social media, paid campaigns and SEO basics
- Thoughtful communication style with high emotional intelligence
- Experience working in consumer tech, lifestyle, dating or wellness brands (preferred but not required)
- A genuine belief in reducing loneliness and creating healthy, meaningful connection

- A thriving, engaged local community in Bangalore & Mumbai built on trust and warmth
- Social channels growing steadily with real conversations and positive sentiment
- Early paid and organic campaigns showing authentic interest and repeat interactions
- Consistent, clear messaging that reflects Kumpanio's mission and tone
