We are looking for a skilled Chef de Partie-South Indian to join our team at Marriott International. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in South Indian cuisine and excellent culinary skills.
Roles and Responsibility
- Prepare and cook authentic South Indian dishes, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the dining experience.
- Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring minimal waste and optimal costs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a professional kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of South Indian cuisine, including cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils, and basic knowledge of food safety protocols.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities, with a flexible and positive attitude.
