Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Retail Expansion Manager/ Head of Retail Expansion who can handle Expansion activities for our stores - Pan India. The role involves dealing with landlords, finding new store locations, leasing and rentals, and managing all activities related to store setup and lease agreements - at standalone stores as well as with Malls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate new retail locations based (stand along and Malls) on market research.
  • Communicate and negotiate with landlords for rent/leasing or renewing store spaces.
  • Coordinate with management for rent/ease decisions and approvals.
  • Handle agreements, LOIs, and rent escalations as per company policy.
  • Ensure smooth store setup by coordinating with contractors for interiors, furniture, painting, flooring, and electrical work.
  • Follow up on timelines to ensure the store is ready within the fit-out period.
  • Understand mall policies, common area maintenance (CAM), and lease renewals.
  • Manage relocation or expansion of stores when required.

Requirements:

  • Experience:
    8–10 years in retail leasing or real estate.
  • Education:
    Graduate or Postgraduate in Business, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Skills:
    Strong communication and negotiation skills, good market knowledge, and understanding of mall operations.
  • Languages:
    English (preferred), Kannada, and Hindi.
  • Other:
    Must be presentable, willing to travel, and own a vehicle.
  • Bonus
    : Have a network of brokers and mall managements across Pan India.
