Role Overview
At At ModuleMD, the Business Development Associate helps grow our business in the U.S. healthcare market. Your main job will be to find and connect with potential clients like clinics, specialty practices, physician groups, and healthcare networks who can benefit from our EHR, Practice Management, and Billing software.
This is a sales-driven role where you'll focus on cold calling, lead generation, follow-ups, running email campaigns, and booking discovery calls and demos for the sales team. You'll need to be consistent with your outreach and focused on meeting targets.
You'll also do market research, find and qualify leads, and work closely with the sales and marketing teams to convert leads into long-term clients. We're looking for someone who is a self-starter, confident in speaking and writing in English, understands U.S. healthcare systems, and can represent ModuleMD as a trusted partner.
This role will require working night shifts (IST) to support U.S. customers and prospects.
Role Purpose: What You'll Be Doing
Key Responsibilities: What Makes You A Fit
- Generate new leads through online research, market segmentation, and prospecting platforms
- Book and schedule discovery calls and product demos for the sales team with qualified prospects
- Follow up consistently on all leads and inquiries to move them towards discovery calls and demos
- Keep CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce) updated with all lead and opportunity data
- Understand and explain basic U.S. healthcare workflows including EHR, Practice Management, and Billing systems to prospects
- Achieve your monthly call, meeting, and pipeline generation targets
- Collaborate with the sales manager for lead handoffs and campaigns
Must-Have Skills:
- 4+ years of U.S. sales experience (healthcare sales preferred)
- Cold Calling Focus: Comfortable making 60+ outbound calls daily as part of your routine
- Proven Sales Record: Must have experience meeting sales targets and booking qualified leads
- Excellent Communication Skills - Strong spoken and written English with neutral or minimal accent
- Clear, professional phone manner and strong email writing skills are essential
- Basic Understanding of U.S. Healthcare Market: Familiarity with clinics, specialty practices, EHR systems, practice management software, and U.S. billing workflows
- Hands-on CRM Experience: Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote
- Comfortable Using Tools Like: Definitive Healthcare, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Dialpad (or equivalent softphone tools)
Work Requirements:
- Must be comfortable working night shifts (IST) to support U.S. daytime operations
- High-speed internet and a quiet home office setup are mandatory
- Self-Motivated and Organized: Ability to manage your day-to-day activities independently
- Bachelor's Degree Required
Work Schedule & Holiday Policy
- Monday to Friday, Night Shifts based on Day light savings
- You will observe U.S. national holidays, not Indian public holidays
- You will be working on Indian national holidays as your role supports U.S. business operations
