Role Overview:
The Chief of Staff will serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the Managing Director, enabling effective decision-making, ensuring seamless execution of key initiatives, and supporting business growth. This role requires strong strategic orientation, excellent analytical ability, and superior communication skills to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders. The position provides a unique opportunity to gain direct exposure to high-level business planning, leadership strategy, and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between the Managing Director and internal/external stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and alignment.
- Support strategic initiatives, including business development, client partnerships, and cross-functional projects that drive Athena's growth agenda.
- Coordinate leadership meetings, prepare strategic reports, and ensure timely execution of action items.
- Conduct research, data analysis, and market intelligence to support decision-making and business planning.
- Partner with Engagement Leads and Business Development teams to track firm-wide priorities, pipeline progress, and revenue targets.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, and briefing notes for leadership discussions and client interactions.
- Manage confidential information with utmost discretion and maintain high standards of professionalism.
- Support internal communication and cultural initiatives to ensure alignment across the organization.
- Anticipate the Managing Director's needs by proactively identifying opportunities, challenges, and solutions.

- Strong business acumen and understanding of strategic priorities.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and comfort with data visualization or CRM tools.
- Demonstrated sense of ownership, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive information.
Experience:
- 2–4 years of experience in consulting, strategy, project management, or executive support roles.
- Prior experience in professional services, executive search, or management consulting is preferred but not mandatory.
