Key Roles & Responsibilities

Objective:

To lead the full-cycle implementation of Zoho People and Zoho Payroll, integrate systems with internal tools, and ensure smooth post-go-live support, maintenance, and process optimization across HR and Payroll functions.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Phase 1: Implementation & Configuration

End-to-End Setup

  • Configure all modules in Zoho People (Leave, Attendance, Onboarding, PMS, etc.)
  • Implement Zoho Payroll including salary structures, pay runs, tax settings, and compliance
  • Customize workflows, forms, approval hierarchies, and automated alerts

Requirement Gathering

  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to understand existing processes
  • Translate business needs into system configurations and process flows

Data Migration

  • Lead data collection, cleansing, and migration from legacy systems
  • Ensure accuracy in importing employee records, salary details, attendance history, etc.

Integration Management

  • Integrate Zoho People with:
  • Biometric or attendance devices
  • Zoho Recruit / Zoho Books / Zoho CRM (if required)
  • Third-party software (via API or middleware)
  • Test all integrations and resolve sync or mapping issues

Testing & Go-Live

  • Conduct end-to-end UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
  • Fix bugs and complete final setup before go-live
  • Train HR, Payroll, and Managers on the system usage

Phase 2: Post-Implementation Support & Maintenance

System Monitoring

  • Regularly check for system errors, workflow failures, or data mismatches
  • Monitor integrations and act on sync issues in real-time

User Support

  • Act as the primary point of contact for any Zoho People/Payroll-related queries
  • Troubleshoot access, functionality, and payroll issues for users

Process Enhancements

  • Make changes to workflows, forms, and policies as per business evolution
  • Continuously improve system usability and efficiency

Payroll Support

  • Assist in monthly payroll processing and verification
  • Ensure statutory compliance (PF, PT, ESIC, TDS, etc.)
  • Generate required reports and ensure payroll accuracy

Training & Documentation

  • Conduct refresher training for HR/Finance or new employees
  • Maintain SOPs, system change logs, and user manuals
  • Liaison with Zoho Support
  • Raise tickets for technical issues
  • Coordinate with Zoho for customization, bug fixes, or product updates

Change Management

  • Assess the impact of any HR or payroll policy changes on the system
  • Implement necessary updates without disrupting ongoing operations

Required Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on experience in implementing Zoho People & Zoho Payroll
  • Strong understanding of HRMS & payroll workflows (Indian compliance preferred)
  • Experience with system integration, API, and data mapping
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Ability to balance project execution and post-go-live support

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in HR, IT, Business, or related field
  • Prior experience in end-to-end HRMS/Payroll implementation
  • Familiarity with Zoho ecosystem and Indian payroll compliance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹70,000.00 per month
