The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and developing the sales team, driving revenue growth, and expanding the company's customer base. This role involves strategic planning, performance management, sales forecasting, and building strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities1. Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and reports.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.

2. Team Leadership & Performance

  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales representatives.
  • Set clear performance goals and monitor KPIs.
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions and performance reviews.
  • Motivate the team to meet and exceed targets.

3. Business Development

  • Identify new business opportunities and high-potential markets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking meetings.

4. Sales Operations

  • Oversee the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Ensure CRM data accuracy and effective sales pipeline management.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to support revenue goals.

5. Reporting & Compliance

  • Track, analyze, and report sales performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and contract standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into strategy.
