Role Overview

The Office Assistant Credit & Collection Department will play a key role in supporting the finance team by handling documentation, coordination, and field-level activities related to collections and receivables. The role requires strong coordination, record management, and communication skills to ensure timely and accurate execution of departmental operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect cheques from clients and ensure timely deposit in designated bank accounts.
  • Submit invoices to clients and project sites as per schedule.
  • Upload invoices to client portals or internal systems.
  • Follow up with project teams for certified invoices and approvals.
  • Maintain and update the Post-Dated Cheque (PDC) tracker regularly.
  • Coordinate with the finance team for cheque clearance and reconciliation.
  • Assist in documentation and filing related to receivables and collections.
  • Support in follow-ups for Bank Guarantee (BG) collection and project-related documentation.
  • Perform other field and office support activities as required by the department.

Skills & Competencies

  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and record maintenance.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Reliable, punctual, and capable of handling fieldwork independently.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum HSC or Graduate in Commerce / Administration preferred.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in office administration, documentation, or field coordination roles, preferably within finance or accounts departments.
  • Experience in the building materials or construction industry will be an advantage.
