Overview
We are looking for a Presales Specialist who can lead and execute strategic pursuits and bid initiatives across large-scale IT and Managed Services deals. This role calls for a proactive professional with strong business acumen, stakeholder management, and solutioning expertise. You will ensure proposals are competitive, compliant, and aligned to client objectives. Experience in SAP, Test Automation, and Performance Testing projects will be highly valued.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Own and manage end-to-end pursuit and bid management for strategic and complex deals.
- Coordinate seamlessly with Sales, Delivery, IT, Finance, and Legal teams throughout the bid, RFP/RFI/RFQ cycle.
- Drive the bid process from qualification to submission, ensuring timely and high-quality proposals.
- Analyse RFPs/RFIs/RFQs to identify win themes, risks, and solution and pricing strategies.
- Develop compelling executive summaries, differentiators, and value propositions for proposals.
- Engage directly with clients to understand business goals, pain points, and solution needs.
- Design tailored, scalable, and innovative solutions aligned with client and organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Delivery, and Product teams to validate technical feasibility.
- Build detailed cost and pricing models, financial proposals, and ROI analyses ensuring profitability.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, SOWs, and agreements with clients.
- Ensure all proposals and contracts comply with internal governance and regulatory standards.
- Partner with Sales for pre-sales activities, demos, PoCs, and solution presentations to clients.
- Integrate OEM and partner offerings into managed services proposals to enhance value.
- Ensure smooth transition and handover from pre-sales to delivery with clear documentation.
- Continuously improve pursuit processes through market insights, feedback, and best practices.
What Were Looking For
We're looking for candidates with a combination of the following:
- 3 to 6 years of experience in Presales and Bid Management.
- Strong experience in end-to-end Bid Management, Pursuit Management, or Pre-Sales Solutioning.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Proven expertise in solution design, proposal writing, and executive storytelling.
- Exposure to SAP environments and Test Automation, and Performance Testing projects will be highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of pricing models, cost estimation, and financial analysis.
- Experience in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts and SOWs.
- Deep understanding of Managed Services, SAP, Test Automation, and Performance Testing or Application Services is required.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, disciplined in documentation and follow-through.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple pursuits under tight deadlines.
- Expert in MS Office, PPT, MS Excel (financial modeling), and proposal automation tools.
