Role Summary:

The Assistant to the Chairman and Managing Director will play a vital role in supporting the executive office with high-level secretarial and administrative duties, competitor research, and strategic insights. The ideal candidate should be proactive, possess excellent communication skills, demonstrate strong research abilities, and have an active interest in social media and content creation. This role requires a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and discretion, flexibility in working hours, and a willingness to take on a wide range of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Executive Support:

  2. Manage daily schedules, appointments, and correspondence for the CMD.

  3. Organize and coordinate meetings, presentations, and other executive-level events.
  4. Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations as required by the CMD.
  5. Handle travel arrangements, itinerary planning, and logistics for the CMD.

  6. Research & Competitor Analysis:

  7. Conduct regular research on industry trends, competitor activities, and market updates.

  8. Compile reports with insights and strategic recommendations based on research findings.
  9. Support CMD in strategy sessions by providing relevant information and analysis.

  10. Social Media & Content Interest:

  11. Assist in creating and reviewing social media content or other communications as  required.

  12. Monitor social media channels for industry updates, brand mentions, and engagement opportunities.
  13. Provide insights into content creation trends, supporting CMD in relevant marketing and branding activities.

  14. Confidentiality & Discretion:

  15. Handle sensitive information with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.

  16. Manage confidential files, documents, and other records for the CMD office.

  17. Proactive & Flexible Working Hours:

  18. Be available to work flexible hours as per the needs of the CMD.

  19. Willingness to take on additional responsibilities beyond routine tasks, demonstrating readiness to support the CMD.
