About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of MICE Operations to lead our international events and group travel programs. In this high-impact leadership role, youll be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) projects for global clients.

You'll manage a team of 12–15 skilled operations professionals, ensure operational excellence, and drive business profitability — all while creating seamless, unforgettable experiences for clients across the world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end operations for all international MICE travel programs
  • Oversee a team of 12–15 operations staff, ensuring high performance and accountability
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop team members to deliver operational excellence
  • Manage staffing plans and resource allocation based on project timelines and business needs
  • Own the full operational cycle: itinerary planning, supplier/vendor management, logistics, budgeting, and execution
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions
  • Conduct site inspections and vendor negotiations to ensure the best value and service quality
  • Ensure flawless on-site delivery and client servicing during events and travel programs
  • Resolve any issues or escalations before, during, and after events
  • Manage P&L for the MICE vertical, ensuring profitability and cost control across all projects
  • Create, monitor, and control budgets for each event/project
  • Implement best practices in MICE operations, and continuously improve efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction

Required Skills & Experience

  • 12–15 years of experience in the travel, MICE, or events industry
  • Minimum 3 years in a leadership or senior operational role
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale MICE projects and mid-sized operations teams
  • Deep understanding of international and domestic travel logistics
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail
  • Hands-on experience in budgeting, P&L ownership, and cost optimisation
  • Willingness to travel for site visits, project execution, and client meetings
