You will also have to learn basic platingtechniques. Commis 3 jobs require great attention to detail, a knowledge ofkitchen safety and hygiene, and multitasking ability.JobDescription· Consistentlyoffer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supportingfellow colleagues· Ensurethe consistency in the preparation of all food items for a la carte and orbuffet menus according to hotel recipes and standards· Conductdaily shift briefings to kitchen colleagues· Ensureall kitchen colleagues are aware of standards & expectations· Liaisedaily with Outlet Managers to keep open lines of communication regarding guestfeedback· Maintainand enhance the food products through creative menu development andpresentation· Havefull knowledge of all menu items, daily features and promotions· Activelyinteract with guests at tables· Balanceoperational, administrative and Colleague needs· Ensureproper staffing and scheduling in accordance to productivity guidelines· Ensurethe cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment· Followkitchen policies, procedures and service standards· Followall safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage· Otherduties as assigned· This is a full -time, on -site role for a Sous Chef (Pan Asian) at KICFood Products Private Limited in Delhi, India. The Sous Chef will beresponsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, preparing and cookingpan -Asian dishes, managing food inventory, and ensuring quality and consistencyin food production.
