Role & responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the warehousing function to ensure alignment with company objectives and customer requirements
  • Monthly monitoring and reporting of warehousing costs in line with budget. Driving cost reduction initiatives while improving customer SLA
  • CFA operations KPI and performance Monitoring. Conducting Monthly operational Reviews and review of depot score cards with all Divisions
  • Resolve problems concerning execution at warehouses; RCA and CAPA of operational issues to improve and strengthen warehouse process operations
  • Implementation of lean warehousing and operations, Daily management, 5S etc. to meet and exceed global standard
  • Audit Compliance as per Marico Policies Inventory, Quality Audits, Social, EHS & Internal
  • Design and Implement capability building plan for members (internal/external) involved in warehousing operation
  • Preparing & Publishing of MIS reports as required by Management
  • Identify automation/Digital opportunities to reduce dependency on manual processes/ operations

Preferred candidate profile:

Qualification & Experience:

  • 3+ years' experience in logistics and warehousing, operations & MBA from premium school with engineering background
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS)

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of statutory requirements and regulations related to warehousing and logistics in India.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders
