Role Summary:

The Helpdesk / Service Coordinator will be responsible for managing customer service requests, logging incidents, coordinating with technical teams, and ensuring timely resolution of issues. The role demands excellent communication, organization, and coordination skills to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

* Act as the first point of contact for all service-related inquiries and support tickets.

* Log and track customer requests or complaints via helpdesk software or email.

* Assign service requests to appropriate technicians or engineers and monitor the status.

* Ensure timely updates and resolution of tickets as per defined SLAs.

* Follow up with clients to confirm service completion and satisfaction.

* Maintain service records and documentation for audits and reporting.

* Coordinate with internal departments for parts, repairs, or escalations.

* Generate daily/weekly service reports and share with management.

* Handle AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) documentation and renewals.

* Assist in managing IT asset inventories and service schedules.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

* Graduate (preferably in IT/Computer Science/Management)

* 1–2 years of experience in a helpdesk/service coordinator role (freshers may apply if technically inclined)

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel & Outlook)

* Familiarity with ticketing/helpdesk tools is a plus (e.g., Zoho Desk, Freshdesk)

* Good organizational and multitasking skills

* Customer-oriented mindset with problem-solving attitude
