About the Role

We are hiring a Technical Sales & Service Engineer with 4–8 years of experience in the industrial equipment sector. This role is a blend of technical service expertise and sales responsibilities, ensuring customers receive end-to-end support from installation and maintenance to product consultation and sales closure. The position requires frequent travel to client sites for service visits, product demonstrations, and business development.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Service & Support

  • Install, commission, and demonstrate industrial equipment at client sites.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Deliver prompt technical support to resolve customer service issues.
  • Maintain accurate service logs, visit records, and customer documentation.

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in sectors such as manufacturing, packaging, printing, and automation.
  • Present and promote industrial equipment to prospective clients.
  • Generate leads, follow up on inquiries, and convert them into confirmed sales.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms to achieve sales targets.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships for repeat business.

Reporting & Coordination

  • Submit regular reports on sales activities, service visits, and market feedback.
  • Coordinate with internal sales, logistics, and technical teams for smooth execution of client requirements.
  • Share competitor insights and customer feedback to support sales strategy.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Experience: 4–8 years in industrial equipment sales and field service.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of industrial machinery, automation systems, and related components.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively across the region.
  • Additional Requirement: Own vehicle (2-wheeler/4-wheeler) and valid driving license preferred.
