Job Description:
Summary:
The Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth through effective
development and management of channel partners. The role involves identifying new partners,
nurturing existing relationships, and ensuring optimal partner performance to expand market reach
and product penetration across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a robust channel sales strategy aligned with business goals.
Identify, onboard and enable new channel partners to expand market coverage.
Manage performance of existing partners through regular reviews, joint business planning
and performance metrics.
Provide partners with product training, sales tools, pricing updates, and promotional
materials.
Build strong, long-term relationships with key distributors, dealers and stockists.
Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Commercial, Supply Chain) to ensure
seamless partner support and order execution.
Track competitor activities, market trends, and pricing strategies to advise on positioning.
Drive territory-wise sales growth through partners and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual
sales targets.
Monitor credit discipline and payment collections from channel partners.
Key Skills:

Strong negotiation, influencing and partner management skills.
Strategic planning and market intelligence aptitude.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on execution and accountability.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Number of new channel partners acquired per quarter.
YOY growth in revenue from channel partners.
Channel partner satisfaction.
Territory-wise market share growth.
Sales revenue.
partner reduction, churn and increase in partner productivity.
New Products introduction in channels and streamline it into regular sales.
Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor& degree in Engineering is preferred; MBA in Marketing or related field is highly
desirable.
10+ years of relevant experience in channel sales, distribution, or dealer management in
electrical, electronics, automation, or industrial product sectors.
Preferred Background:
Experience in working with structured dealer networks, system integrator or industrial B2B
channels.
Exposure to CRM tools and digital partner enablement platforms is an added advantage.
Other Details:
Role involves regular field travel across the country.
