Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef de Partie - North Indian Cuisine, located in Chennai. The Chef de Partie will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes in their designated section. This includes ensuring that dishes are prepared according to the restaurant's standards and recipes. The role also involves maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to health and safety guidelines, and managing stock levels and orders. Collaborating with the kitchen team and supporting the Head Chef in daily operations is also a key responsibility.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and skills in North Indian cuisine
- Experience in menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation
- Proficient in kitchen management, including inventory management and maintaining cleanliness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with team members
- Adherence to health and safety regulations
- Relevant certifications or culinary degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
