Key Objectives
- Strategic Public Sector Growth:
Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies for a portfolio of key government agencies and public sector organizations, focusing on significant contract value growth through strategic alignment with public sector mandates and the introduction of tailored solutions. - Executive Stakeholder Management:
Cultivate and nurture strong, trusted advisor relationships with senior government officials, key policymakers, and influential stakeholders within assigned public sector accounts, positioning MyOperator as a strategic partner in achieving their objectives. - Value Alignment & Mission Advancement:
Ensure public sector clients recognize the direct alignment of MyOperator's solutions with their mission-critical objectives, demonstrating tangible improvements in efficiency, citizen services, and operational effectiveness, transforming them into long-term advocates. - Complex Procurement Navigation:
Lead and navigate intricate public sector procurement processes, including RFPs, tenders, and framework agreements, effectively communicating value, demonstrating compliance, and securing long-term contracts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for government and public-sector clients, with clear objectives and KPIs aligned to regulatory and policy priorities.
- Serve as the primary senior contact for key government stakeholders, understanding their strategic goals, challenges, and long-term initiatives.
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities within public-sector accounts, presenting strong value propositions tailored to government needs.
- Lead regular strategic review meetings with senior officials to demonstrate delivered value and align future initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Legal, Compliance, Solutions Engineering) to address complex requirements and ensure compliant delivery.
- Manage high-level escalations, ensuring timely resolution and transparent communication with government stakeholders.
- Maintain deep knowledge of government policies, procurement processes, and regulatory frameworks influencing public-sector engagements.
- Provide accurate forecasting and progress tracking through CRM tools, keeping leadership informed of key opportunities and risks.
- Build goodwill through impactful case studies, success stories, and strategic references within the public sector.
- Represent MyOperator at government-focused events, conferences, and forums to strengthen relationships and expand visibility.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in key account management or strategic sales, managing large government and public-sector accounts.
- Proven success navigating public-sector procurement and securing high-value government contracts.
- Strong understanding of government structures, policy processes, and public-sector funding mechanisms.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to craft value propositions aligned to public-sector mandates and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and ensure compliance with government standards.
- Deep knowledge of the Indian government landscape and familiarity with procurement portals and CRM tools.
- Ability to interpret policy, analyze government data, and translate technical concepts into public-sector solutions.
- Highly self-driven, results-oriented, and effective in complex, regulated environments.
