Job Title: Marketing Head – Admissions, Branding & Outreach (School)
Location: Borivali & Kandivali (A legacy ICSE School)
Experience: 6–8 Years (preferably in Schools / Colleges / Educational Institutions)
Reporting To: Director / Principal / Management
Position Overview
The Marketing Head will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing and admissions strategies to achieve annual enrollment targets. The role involves managing both ATL and BTL campaigns, strengthening the school's brand visibility, and driving consistent lead generation through digital, on-ground, and institutional partnerships.
The ideal candidate must have prior experience in the education sector (school or college level), with hands-on expertise in admissions marketing, digital strategy, vendor management, and parent outreach initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
A. Admissions & Marketing Strategy
- Develop and implement a comprehensive annual marketing plan aligned with the school's admission goals.
- Create and monitor admission funnel metrics: leads → walk-ins → registrations → admissions.
- Plan and execute admission campaigns across all major catchment areas.
- Work closely with counsellors and BD teams to track and improve conversion ratios.
B. Branding, ATL & BTL Campaigns
- Lead the planning and execution of ATL (print, radio, hoardings) and BTL (society activations, events, LED vans, pre-school tie-ups) campaigns.
- Oversee design and distribution of all marketing collaterals – brochures, standees, school videos, outdoor creatives, and newsletters.
- Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints and ensure alignment with school ethos.
- Drive storytelling and PR initiatives to highlight achievements, student success, and school legacy.
C. Digital Marketing & Lead Generation
- Manage digital campaigns on Meta (Facebook, Instagram) and Google Ads, ensuring optimal CPL and conversion tracking.
- Collaborate with digital agencies for SEO, SEM, social media, and website updates.
- Monitor analytics dashboards and generate weekly performance reports.
D. Events & Outreach
- Plan and execute open houses, school fairs, workshops, and community engagement programs.
- Build partnerships with preschools, corporates, hospitals, and housing societies for lead generation.
- Coordinate alumni and parent ambassador programs to drive organic referrals.
E. Vendor & Agency Management
- Coordinate with creative, printing, and media agencies for campaign execution.
- Negotiate rates, ensure timely deliverables, and maintain high-quality output across channels.
F. Team Leadership & Coordination
- Lead and mentor the internal marketing, counselling, and BD teams.
- Align daily goals and reporting mechanisms to track admissions progress.
- Ensure effective communication between marketing, admissions, and academic leadership.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Marketing, Mass Communication, or Management (MBA preferred).
- 6–8 years of experience in marketing and admissions for schools, colleges, or educational institutions.
- Proven track record in achieving admission targets and running successful ATL/BTL campaigns.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools (Google Ads, Meta, CRM systems).
- Excellent communication, planning, and vendor management skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
