Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive sales and expand our cold chain solutions business. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of temperature-controlled logistics, refrigeration systems, and supply chain requirements across industries like pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, and retail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development: Identify and acquire clients for cold chain solutions, including refrigerated transport, cold storage, and temperature-controlled packaging for selling telematics products for cold chain industry such as temperature humidity sensor, door sensors, real time asset monitoring, etc.
- Industry Targeting: Engage with businesses in pharmaceuticals, food processing, dairy, frozen foods, logistics, and retail to provide tailored solutions.
- Lead Generation & Conversion: Develop a pipeline of potential clients, conduct presentations, and close deals to achieve revenue targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, including supply chain managers, procurement heads, and operations teams.
- Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs to refine sales approaches.
- Collaboration: Work closely with operations, technical, and customer service teams to ensure seamless solution implementation.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue projections.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: 3-7 years of proven sales experience in cold chain solutions (cold storage, refrigerated transport, temperature-controlled packaging, etc.).
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of cold chain logistics, temperature-sensitive supply chains, and regulatory requirements.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiar with CRM tools, MS Office, and sales reporting tools.
- Self-Motivated: Target-driven and capable of working independently.
Preferred:
- Experience in pharmaceutical cold chain logistics, food safety compliance, or industrial refrigeration solutions.
- Strong network in FMCG, healthcare, agriculture, or logistics sectors.
