Role Overview
The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and build strong client relationships. This role involves developing sales strategies, mentoring team members, achieving sales targets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company goals.
- Identify new market opportunities and build go-to-market strategies.
- Forecast sales performance and track KPIs.
- Team Leadership
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of sales executives/managers.
- Set performance targets and monitor achievement levels.
- Provide ongoing training and professional development.
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Negotiate high-value contracts and close major deals.
- Ensure exceptional customer experience and long-term client retention.
- Performance & Reporting
- Track, analyze, and report sales performance metrics to senior management.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
- Recommend improvements to sales processes and tools.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align business development efforts.
- Provide market feedback to product development teams for enhancements.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 4+ years of experience in sales, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.
- Industry-specific experience (Investments Management, IT, Real Estate,Manufacturing, etc.) preferred.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.

- Achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Growth in market share and revenue.
