Primary Purpose

Enterprise Applications & Support will lead a team of analysts responsible for the administration, support, and continuous improvement of enterprise business applications. This role will oversee systems including Microsoft Dynamics 365, iCIMS, ADP, Data Lake, Vulnerability Management Dashboard, and JIRA. The manager will ensure high availability, user satisfaction, and alignment of applications with business needs while driving best practices, governance, and operational efficiency

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Enterprise Application Analysts; conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and provide coaching and development opportunities.
  • Application Oversight: Oversee the administration, configuration, and support of enterprise applications (Dynamics 365, iCIMS, ADP, Data Lake, Vulnerability Management Dashboard, JIRA & other critical enterprise applications) ensure uptime, data integrity, and compliance
  • Incident & Service Management: Manage and prioritize application support requests, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and adherence to SLAs.
  • Vendor Management: Partner with external vendors and service providers for escalations, upgrades, licensing, and ongoing support.
  • Process Improvement: Define, implement, and monitor best practices for application management, documentation, and governance.
  • Project Delivery: Coordinate and manage application-related projects, upgrades, and enhancements in collaboration with IT, Security, and Business stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Finance, HR, Security, and other business units to gather requirements, resolve issues, and ensure applications meet organizational needs.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure all applications follow organizational security standards, data privacy policies, and audit requirements
  • Reporting & Metrics: Develop and maintain performance metrics, dashboards, and reports to monitor application health, team productivity, and service quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (BE/B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in IT Application Management, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role overseeing enterprise applications.
  • Proven experience in implementing, integrating, and managing enterprise applications (e.g., Veeva Vault, Dynamics 365, ADP, iCIMS, SharePoint, HRIS, and other CRO/clinical research-related platforms).
  • Experience working in regulated industries (life sciences, healthcare, or CRO environment) strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing enterprise-scale application portfolios supporting multiple business units.
  • Hands-on experience with application governance, vendor management, and large-scale system upgrades or migrations.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise application lifecycle management, including implementation, integration, upgrades, and support.
  • Expertise in aligning application strategy with business objectives, driving process improvements, and enabling digital transformation.
  • Strong vendor and contract management skills, including negotiations, service-level management, and performance monitoring.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across geographies and business units.
  • Solid knowledge of IT governance, security, compliance (ISO, FISMA, FedRAMP, GDPR), and risk management in enterprise applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence at senior leadership levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment and effectively partner with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
