Service/Bodyshop Advisor

For Reputed Tata Car Dealership, MOWA and TATIBANDH, Raipur

We're looking for a Bodyshop/Service Advisor (Workshop) for our automobile dealership at Tatibandh, Raipur (C.G.) Candidate preferred from Automobile dealership/industry.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers when they arrive at the workshop and direct them to an available mechanic.
  • Opening the new job card.
  • Consult with mechanics about necessary repairs and possible alternatives to expensive work.
  • Answer questions about service outcome (after consulting with mechanic if necessary).
  • Call customers to inform them of changes in service or to let them know their vehicle is ready for pick-up.
  • Writes a brief description of the customer's concern on the repair order to help the technician locate the problem.
  • Explains the work performed and the repair order charges to the customer.
  • Handles customer complaints.
  • Schedules service appointments.
  • Test drives the vehicle with customer as needed to confirm the problem or refer to test technician.
  • Refers to service history, inspects vehicle, and recommends additional needed service.
  • Advises customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' specifications.

Required skills:

  • Should be able to drive a vehicle safely and have a valid LMV a driving license.
  • Proven experience in a Service Advisor role.
  • Strong working knowledge of operational procedures.

Qualification/Experience:

  • Any Graduate/Diploma/degree in Mechanical Engg.
  • Minimum 1 Year experience in similar position.
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Office/Internet)
