Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Joy Ice Cream

Location: Ernakulam

Reports To: Regional Sales Manager

Position Overview:

Joy Ice Cream is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Area Sales Manager to oversee and drive sales in a designated territory. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, expanding Joy Ice Cream's presence in the market, and strengthening relationships with distributors, retailers, and trade partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and volume targets for Joy Ice Cream in the assigned area.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales executives and field staff to maximize performance.
  • Identify new business opportunities, potential distributors, and retail outlets.
  • Maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key accounts, ensuring product availability and visibility.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns and brand activations for Joy Ice Cream.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights for senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 3–7 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in ice cream, frozen foods, or dairy products.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a sales team.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and data-driven with a good understanding of sales metrics.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
