Role & responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven professional to lead and drive the Gold Savings Scheme vertical. The AGM will be responsible for strategizing, planning, and executing customer acquisition and retention initiatives for the scheme. The role demands strong sales acumen, people management skills, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales:
- Drive customer acquisition for Gold Savings Schemes through direct sales, field sales, and relationship-building strategies.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for new enrollments and renewals.
- Develop innovative campaigns to promote the scheme in target markets.
- Identify B2B and institutional opportunities for bulk enrollments.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
- Act as a trusted advisor by explaining scheme benefits, addressing concerns, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Resolve escalations and ensure smooth customer experience.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of field executives and relationship managers.
- Monitor daily performance, guide sales pitch strategies, and drive accountability for results.
- Conduct regular review meetings and performance tracking.
Strategic & Operational:
- Create and implement sales strategies aligned with business goals.
- Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer insights to refine sales approach.
- Collaborate with marketing for lead generation campaigns and promotional activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and regulatory requirements.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong experience in direct sales/field sales/credit card sales/B2B sales/relationship management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Ability to handle high-value customers with trust and professionalism.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Result-oriented mindset with proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate/MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration.
- 5-7 years of sales experience with at least 34 years in a managerial role.
- Preferred industries: Financial services, Credit cards, Banking, Insurance, NBFC, Direct Sales, or Jewellery/Retail.
- Prior experience in Gold Savings/Recurring Deposits/Wealth Management Schemes will be an added advantage.
