Department: Business Development / Trade Research

Reporting To: Executive Secretary / Senior Management

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and committed female professional to take charge of lead generation, follow-ups, and market research activities. This role demands a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to act quickly on new business leads. The candidate will play a vital role in supporting business expansion by managing leads efficiently and conducting insightful trade and market analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead Handling & Follow-up

  2. Manage all leads generated through marketing campaigns and digital platforms.

  3. Initiate immediate contact (via call or message) with every new lead—no delay in response.
  4. Maintain a structured lead sheet with clear status updates (Interested / Pending / Not Interested).
  5. Ensure each follow-up is tracked and reported daily to the Executive Secretary.

  6. Market & Trade Research

  7. Perform in-depth trade and market research to identify new clients, suppliers, and potential trading opportunities.

  8. Gather and analyze industry data, competitor insights, and sourcing information.
  9. Support the management team with accurate and updated trade intelligence.
  10. Collaborate with internal departments to align research with procurement and sales strategies.

  11. Reporting & Coordination

  12. Prepare comprehensive daily and weekly reports summarizing lead status, calls made, and emails sent.

  13. Coordinate with the Executive Secretary and management team for effective task alignment.
  14. Maintain high standards of documentation, communication, and professionalism in all activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Female candidates preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in lead generation, market research, or business development. (Freshers with strong communication and research aptitude are also encouraged to apply.)
  • Proficient in MS Excel / Google Sheets / CRM tools / Internet Research.
  • Excellent command of English and Hindi; knowledge of additional regional languages is a plus.
  • Strong research, analytical, and multitasking skills.
  • Should be organized, self-motivated, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
