Area Sales Manager

1. Job Summary
The Area Sales Manager will lead and manage the sales operations for uPVC products across assigned districts in Kerala. The role involves team management, market expansion, dealer/architect development, and achieving sales targets for the region.
2. Key Responsibilities A. Sales Target & Business Development
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned area.
- Identify new business opportunities among builders, architects, contractors, and dealers.
- Expand product presence through visits to construction sites and upcoming projects.
- Develop long-term business relationships with key customers and influencers.
B. Team Management
- Manage and guide Sales Executives and field staff.
- Monitor daily sales activities, visits, and enquiry follow-ups.
- Provide product training and support to the sales team.
- Review weekly performance and ensure target achievement.
C. Channel & Market Expansion
- Develop new dealers/partners for uPVC products in Kerala.
- Maintain strong relationships with architects and interior designers.
- Conduct product presentations, seminars, and promotional activities.
- Track market trends, competitor pricing, and new ongoing projects.
D. Customer Management
- Handle major clients and key accounts personally.
- Ensure timely delivery, quality service, and after-sales support.
- Resolve customer complaints and coordinate with production/installation teams.
E. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare monthly sales plans and strategy for the region.
- Maintain reports: daily visit report (DVR), sales pipeline, order tracking, and payment collection.
- Submit MIS reports to management regularly.
3. Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication in Malayalam & English.
- Good leadership and team-handling skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing ability.
- Good understanding of Kerala construction market.
- Technical knowledge of uPVC doors/windows (preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, WhatsApp communication, Email.
4. Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in any discipline.
- Minimum 3–7 years of sales experience in uPVC, building materials, interiors, or construction products.
- Prior experience as Senior Sales Executive / Team Lead preferred.
5. Salary & Benefits
- Salary based on experience and performance.
