Presently there are more than 100 SKU's available both in retail and institutional pack sizes in the Frozen foods category – including Ready to Cook, Ready to Eat, Ready to Fry, Heat and Serve – Indian Breads, Seafood, Meats, Sausages, Vegetables and Speciality Indian Foods. The "Buffet" brand was established by Amalgam Group which has over 40 years of experience in the frozen food industry. Buffet Fusion Foods Pvt. Ltd. (BFFL), manufactures, packs and markets a range of branded, retail-pack food products under the brand name "Buffet", for the Indian domestic retail market as well as the Indian diasporas internationally.

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Area Sales Manager to lead our sales operations in the assigned region. The role involves managing distributors, driving sales targets, expanding market presence, and leading a team of Sales Executives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets (Primary & Secondary).
  • Appoint and manage distributors, retailers, and channel partners.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the field sales team to improve productivity.
  • Execute promotional and visibility activities in the market.
  • Track competitor activities and market trends to recommend actions.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business / Marketing; MBA preferred.
  • 10 plus years of FMCG / Food industry experience (regional handling preferred).
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of local geography and market network.
  • Proficiency in Excel / CRM tools for reporting and analysis.

Experience: FMCG / Food Sales.
