Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager (ASM) with proven experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing distributor networks, leading field sales teams, and driving market growth in the assigned territory. Candidates with prior FMCG experience and immediate availability will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Achievement:
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets across the assigned area through effective planning and execution.
- Team Management:
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Sales Officers/Executives to ensure effective market coverage and performance.
- Channel & Distributor Management:
Appoint, manage, and nurture distributors and stockists. Ensure adequate inventory, timely billing, and product availability across channels.
- Market Development:
Identify new business opportunities, expand market reach, and improve product visibility in modern trade and general trade segments.
- Promotions & Merchandising:
Execute marketing and trade promotion activities as per brand guidelines to drive consumer engagement and sales uplift.
- Competitor Analysis:
Track competitor activities, pricing, and market share. Provide regular feedback and insights to management for strategic decisions.
- Reporting & MIS:
Maintain sales reports, collection status, and market feedback in line with company reporting systems.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹35, ₹45,000.00 per month
