About the Role
Awaken INdia is hiring a Business Development Executive for our in-house recruitment team.
This is a client-facing position involving field visits, client acquisition, requirement gathering, and recruitment coordination. The role demands strong communication skills, relationship building, and business development ability.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire new clients for recruitment and staffing services
- Build and maintain relationships with key corporate clients
- Conduct field visits for client meetings and business development
- Meet HR managers to understand hiring requirements
- Gather job details and coordinate with the recruitment team
- Manage vendors or sub-agencies when required
- Coordinate interviews and follow up on hiring status
- Negotiate service charges, agreements, and business terms
- Track closures and candidate joining confirmations
- Support billing and payment follow-ups
- Prepare daily/weekly MIS, reports, and performance updates
- Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proven experience in Recruitment or Staffing Business Development
- Ability to manage corporate and key clients independently
- Good presentation and meeting-handling skills
- Strong lead generation and business development capabilities
- Comfortable with regular field visits
- Basic proficiency in MS Office, Email, and CRM tools
- Prior experience in a manpower consultancy, recruitment agency, or staffing firm preferred
- Graduate degree required
