Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced HubSpot CMS Developer to join our team for a complete website redesign and re-platforming project. The successful candidate will be a key player in rebuilding the Heritage Bank website on the HubSpot CMS platform. This role focuses on developing a fully custom theme, creating modular templates, and translating a new brand identity and user experience design into a high-performing, easy-to-manage website.

Core Responsibilities

  • Custom Theme & Component Development: Build a new website on HubSpot CMS from the ground up, developing a custom theme with modular templates and reusable components that align with the UX design.
  • Branding & Styling: Apply the client's new branding across all site components, ensuring visual and functional consistency on every page.
  • Content Integration: Work with client-supplied materials to implement all website content into the new HubSpot build, ensuring layout accuracy and adherence to brand standards.
  • Functionality Replication: Recreate all functionality from the existing website to ensure a seamless and smooth transition for current customers, guaranteeing zero loss of functionality.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the UX Lead and Designer to transform wireframes and design mockups into fully functional digital experiences.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in end-to-end testing to validate that the site and its components meet all project standards before launch.
  • Client Enablement: Build the CMS with components and modules that empower the client's internal teams to easily manage content post-launch.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3-15 years proven experience as a HubSpot CMS developer.
  • Expert-level proficiency in HubL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Demonstrated experience building custom, responsive HubSpot themes, templates, and modules from scratch.
  • Ability to accurately translate UX/UI designs into functional and visually polished web pages.
  • Experience with content migration and implementation within the HubSpot ecosystem.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, remote team environment.
