SDR -Outbound (Keka)
Keka is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to play a critical role in building the top of our sales funnel, running multi-channel prospecting
cadences, and ensuring every qualified opportunity is handed off smoothly to our Account
Executives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-energy SaaS environment
and loves turning conversations into opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
• Run targeted outbound prospecting via cold calls, personalized emails, LinkedIn,
and other digital channels.
• Research and profile accounts to identify HR leaders and decision-makers who fit
Keka's Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
• Craft personalized outreach using insights about the prospect's business, industry,
and challenges.
• Qualify leads using BANT or similar frameworks to assess need, authority, timeline,
and budget.
• Nurture prospects across multiple touchpoints to build awareness and interest
until they are sales-ready.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing on campaign follow-ups and with AEs to ensure
smooth handoff of qualified SQLs.
• Maintain CRM discipline in HubSpot — logging all activities, updating lead stages,
and ensuring data accuracy.
• Track daily activity and conversion metrics (calls, emails, meetings booked, SQLs
created) and work towards weekly/monthly goals.
• Stay up to date on HR tech trends, competitive landscape, and Keka's evolving
product offerings to position value effectively
Required Qualifications
• 2-6 years of Sales Development experience in a SaaS environment, with a strong focus on
outbound prospecting and lead qualification in the Indian market.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with the ability to handle
objections and drive conversations forward.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey value propositions
and engage decision-makers.
• Proficient in CRM and sales engagement tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, and
ZoomInfo.
• Quickly adopting new tools and sales methodologies; comfortable navigating a tech driven sales stack.
• Highly organized with strong time management and the ability to manage multiple
priorities in a fast-paced setting.
