THE ROLE

We are seeking a Senior HR Operations Manager to take full ownership of the HR function in India, supported in the role by a HR and Recruitment Officer. You'll lead everything from talent acquisition and onboarding to performance management, payroll, compliance, and office administration.

As the HR backbone of our Indian operations, you'll play a pivotal role in building a high-performing workforce, enhancing employee experience, and aligning HR strategy with our global vision. You'll work closely with the Head of HR (UK) and leadership teams to drive people initiatives that fuel growth and engagement.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment across roles and departments, ensuring a great candidate experience.
  • Partner with the UK HR team on workforce planning and global HR alignment.
  • Implement performance management systems (KPIs, OKRs, appraisals) and support employee growth.
  • Manage payroll, HRIS, compliance, and benefits with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Oversee office operations, vendor management, and statutory compliance.
  • Champion employee engagement, well-being, and diversity initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on all HR-related matters.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 5–10 years of proven experience in HR operations and strategy.
  • Strong expertise in recruitment, performance management, and compliance.
  • Solid understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory requirements.
  • Experience working in a scaling or startup environment is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on leader who can balance strategy with execution.
