About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Developments who is a true sales enthusiast, possesses excellent communication skills, and has hands-on experience working on platforms like Upwork. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership capabilities and the ability to manage and grow a team, while driving revenue and client acquisition strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Bidding
- Generate leads and close deals via Upwork and similar freelance platforms.
- Write compelling proposals tailored to client requirements.
- Manage end-to-end bidding process, follow-ups, and negotiations.
- Client Engagement
- Identify potential clients and build strong long-term relationships.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the sales cycle.
Understand client needs and consult them on appropriate digital solutions.
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business goals.
- Monitor sales metrics and adapt tactics to meet changing demands.
Collaborate with marketing, project, and technical teams to support sales initiatives.
Reporting & Analysis
- Maintain CRM records, dashboards, and weekly/monthly sales reports.
- Analyze market trends, competition, and client behavior to improve sales effectiveness.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- 2 to 4 years of proven experience in Business Development, preferably in IT/Digital Marketing industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Deep understanding of Upwork platform, including bidding and client acquisition strategies.
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and building client relationships.
- Strong leadership qualities with experience in team management.
- A true sales personality – persuasive, energetic, and target-driven.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience in international markets (US, UK, Australia preferred).
