We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Zonal Head to lead and expand our Gold Loan business in the Tamil Nadu region. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in Gold Loan operations, people management, branch expansion, and business development across large geographical areas.

The Zonal Head will be responsible for driving disbursement growth, ensuring portfolio quality, leading branch operations, and ensuring compliance and productivity across multiple districts in Tamil Nadu.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development & Sales Growth

  2. Drive Gold Loan disbursement targets and revenue for the Tamil Nadu zone.

  3. Plan and execute strategies to increase branch-level business and market penetration.

  4. Identify new market opportunities and oversee new branch rollouts and location profitability.

  5. Team & Branch Management

  6. Lead a large team including Regional Managers, Cluster Heads, Area Managers, and Branch Managers.

  7. Monitor staff performance, ensure training, motivation, and skill development across the zone.

  8. Conduct regular performance reviews, field visits, and on-ground support.

  9. Gold Loan Operations

  10. Ensure high-quality customer service and adherence to gold purity and valuation protocols.

  11. Maintain optimal gold loan asset quality, storage, safety, and security of pledged gold.

  12. Minimize theft, fraud, and operational risks by enforcing strong process control.

  13. Collections & Portfolio Health

  14. Monitor and improve collection efficiency and reduce delinquencies (bucket-wise).

  15. Work with collections team to drive timely interest and principal recovery.

  16. Control NPAs and ensure a healthy portfolio mix in the gold loan book.

  17. Compliance & Audit

  18. Ensure full compliance with internal policies, RBI guidelines, and audit requirements.

  19. Ensure all branches in the zone follow operational SOPs, including gold handling protocols.

  20. Address and close audit queries and risk observations in a timely manner.

  21. Customer Engagement & Retention

  22. Design customer-centric initiatives to retain and grow the existing customer base.

  23. Promote repeat loans, top-up loans, and renewal strategies.
