JOB DESCRIPTION

Position title: Area Manager / Regional Manager AIF Sales

Location: Chennai - Coverage - Tamil Nadu and Kerala

Department: AIF

Grade: IL-3 (Chief Manager /AVP)

Organizational relationships Reports to: Zonal Head - AIF / Sales Head

Purpose of the Job:

  1. Building a strong relationship across distribution set up i.e. Banks / ND's & IFAs across Chennai.
  2. The position is responsible for prospecting and selling AIF & PMS products to Family offices/ Ultra High-Net-worth Individuals through direct sales efforts.
  3. Work with existing MF distribution teams to help them cross sell AIF through the Zone across channel partners.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective and smooth relationship with assigned distributors /clients in the region for growth in business.
  • Responsible for prospecting and selling AIF products to High-Net-worth Individuals through direct sales efforts and third-party distributors.
  • Distribution relationship nurturing and management by continuous engagement and training and other values adds.
  • Developing business through consultative engagement with Cluster Managers / Regional Manager & Regional Heads.
  • Responsible for achieving Sales Targets.
  • Experience of Metro Market essential.
  • Market & industry analysis.

Formal Qualifications / Prior Work Exp:

  • MBA or C.A with minimum 10-15 years of experience.
  • Experienced in institutional/ private banking / wealth management space.
  • Metro market handling experiences a must.
