Budget: 18-20 LPA
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY:
• Develop and execute the regional sales strategy for the pet food business to meet / exceed revenue, volume, margin and profit targets.
• Conduct market assessment and competitor analysis: identify growth opportunities, new territories, white spaces, threats and work with marketing / insights to populate intelligence.
• Forecast accurately: sales forecasting, budgeting, expense planning for the region; monitor P&L, cost of sales, margin erosion, promotional ROI.
• Work with supply chain, operations and marketing teams to ensure product availability, distribution, visibility and execution in the region.

Lead and coach the regional sales team (field sales managers, area managers, sales executives) to achieve targets; define roles, set clear objectives, monitor, review and motivate.
• Foster a performance-driven culture: training in product knowledge (especially relevant in pet food – nutrition, pet health, product benefits), selling skills, customer and channel management.
• Identify talent, succession planning for key roles, build capability for future growth.
• Drive sales performance across all relevant channels in the region: ensure growth of existing accounts and development of new accounts. (Channel Sales)
