Business Development Manager- Defence

-Leading the team of Business Development.

-Identify and pursue new business opportunities within MoD, Defence PSUs, DRDO, Ordnance Factories, and Armed Forces.

-Track defence procurement portals (GeM, CPP/ defence procurement tenders, e-procurement) and identify relevant tenders.

-Understand client requirements and propose relevant products/solutions.

-Assist in preparation and submission of RFPs, RFQs, EOIs, and tender documents.

-Coordinate with internal teams (technical, finance, legal) for timely proposal preparation.

-Represent the company in defence exhibitions, seminars, and industry forums.

Skills and Experience Required:

Strong knowledge of defence procurement procedures and processes.(DPM 2009, DAP 2020, DFPDS 2021)

-Familiarity with GeM portal, MoD procurement systems, and tendering.

-Excellent networking, communication, and presentation skills.

-Ability to analyze business opportunities and prepare structured proposals.

-Discipline, accountability, and goal-oriented mindset (Defence background desirable).

  • Proficient in MS Office, power point, ERP.

Qualification & Experience:

-Graduate / Postgraduate (Business, Defence Studies, Engineering, or related field).

-1015 years of experience in Business Development / Sales in Defence sector.

  • Ex-serviceman (especially from Corps of Ordnance / EME) with procurement / liaison exposure will be given preference.

Remarks – Candidate must be willing and able to travel extensively.
