Job role: Travel Expert- Inbound DMC
Location: Gurugram, On-site, 5 days a week

Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Inbound Travel Expert to join our Hi Tours division. This role requires a travel professional with a strong background in crafting tailor-made itineraries, handling operations and reservations, and managing end-to-end client interactions. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in inbound tourism sales/ operations, deep destination knowledge, and a proven ability to manage customer relationships with professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities:
Itinerary Design & Conversions
- Develop and convert inbound travel enquiries into confirmed bookings by creating customized, experience-driven itineraries for FITs and Groups.
- Proactively engage with clients (B2B/B2C) to understand preferences and upsell value-added services.
Costing, Quotation & Profitability
- Prepare competitive and accurate costings while ensuring profitability and alignment with client budgets.
- Negotiate with vendors and partners to secure the best rates and enhance package value.
Client Relationship & Account Management
- Maintain professional communication with clients, delivering exceptional pre- and post-sales support.
- Nurture long-term relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
Reservations & Operations Management
- Handle complete reservation processes including hotels, transport, sightseeing, and special experiences.
- Coordinate with internal operations, vendors, and DMCs to ensure smooth execution of itineraries, addressing modifications and last-minute changes.
Destination & Product Expertise
- Provide expert guidance on routes, destinations, accommodations, and cultural experiences within the Indian Subcontinent.
- Stay updated on travel trends, products, and competitor offerings to strengthen sales pitches.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business Management, or related field (preferred).
- 5 to 10 years of experience in travel sales, reservations, or operations (inbound preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Indian Subcontinent destinations, products, and experiences. 
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills. 
- Ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines simultaneously with attention to detail. 
- Flexible, problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle last-minute changes.
