Role Overview

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will drive growth for Grow Lotus Fintech by expanding market presence, building strategic partnerships, and generating high-value business opportunities. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and experienced in the fintech domain.

Key Responsibilities Business Growth & Strategy

  • Identify new market opportunities within the fintech ecosystem.
  • Develop and implement strategic growth plans to drive revenue.
  • Conduct market research to track industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Generate leads and convert them into long-term clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure high satisfaction levels.
  • Present product offerings to potential clients and negotiate deals.

Partnership Development

  • Build alliances with banks, NBFCs, financial institutions, tech companies, and channel partners.
  • Evaluate potential partnership models to enhance product reach.

Product & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with product, marketing, and tech teams to align offerings with client requirements.
  • Provide feedback from clients/market to improve products and services.

Sales & Performance Management

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets.
  • Prepare and deliver reports, forecasts, and market analysis to management.

RequirementsEducation & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 3–7 years of experience in Business Development, ideally within fintech, payments, lending, or BFSI.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of fintech products and digital financial ecosystems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify insights, and drive decisions.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong networking skills and relationship-building abilities.
