Role & responsibilities

  • Your job as a business development officer is to identify sales leads, pitch goods or services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts.
  • To help generate business for the company via various channels utilizing your strengths in the direction of the Director of Sales.
  • Initiate discussions with consultants, contractors, and end users on projects.
  • Following up new Electrical business opportunities and setting up meetings.
  • Generate business through client relationship management, Cold calling and coordination with clients and constant communication shall be major duties in the job.
  • Explore new channels of sales and formulate and implement strategies to penetrate the new market lead generation, end-to-end client communication.
  • Pitching & Identifying leads, Maintaining fruitful relationships with customers, Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings, Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
  • Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective customers.
  • Schedule and attend client meetings, ensuring that number of meetings meets targets as set by management.
  • Take a solutions and consultative sell approach to ensure clients' needs are accurately met.
  • Should be Technically sound with 360 degrees understanding of MEP Business, Risks and Profitability and Problem-solving skills.
  • Good in networking with strong appetite for new Opportunities.

Preferred candidate profile:

  • Project sales experience in EPC preferably in MEP / Switchgear sales in Industrial and Commercial preferably Electrical / Mechanical Engineering Background.
  • Strong understanding of MEP project sales, turnkey projects, switchgear systems, substations design & implementation.
  • Must be deadline and goal oriented as well as flexible.
  • Candidate should be flexible to travel anywhere.
  • Candidate should have skills to promote our company in the market.
  • Strong communication skills (both written & verbal).
  • Candidate should have English & Hindi knowledge.
  • Having 2 or 4-wheeler along with License
