About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our Investment Banking division in an Origination role. The ideal candidate will have a strong network, proven deal origination skills, and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, private equity firms, and other stakeholders. The role requires understanding financial markets and industry trends

Key Responsibilities:

Deal Origination & Business Development:

1) Identify and originate investment banking mandates, including M&A, private equity fundraising, structured financing, and capital market transactions.

2) Develop relationships with corporate clients, promoters, private equity firms, venture capitalists, and institutional investors.

3) Pitch potential clients, create business opportunities, and generate revenue.

4) Build and maintain strong relationships with CXOs, promoters, and key decision-makers.

5) Stay updated with industry trends, market developments, and investment opportunities.

6) Conduct competitor analysis and track deal flows in the investment banking space.

7) Work closely with execution teams to ensure smooth deal closure.

8) Coordinate with internal teams on pitch decks, financial models, and due diligence.

Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or Private Equity.
  • Strong network and proven track record in deal origination.
  • Excellent understanding of financial statements, valuation techniques, and deal structuring.
  • Strong business development and client relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deals simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution / CFA / CA preferred.

Prior experience in M&A, PE fundraising, or structured finance will be an advantage.
