With aggressive expansion plans, Electro Systems Associates Pvt Ltd Group is seeking experienced Regional Sales Engineers and Inside Sales Executives to grow ESA Group business addressing existing and new emerging markets.
The Job Positions are open in Bangalore, Pune, Chennai & Delhi and offer great opportunities for motivated sales personnel aspiring to be key contributors to our growth plans. This is an excellent opportunity to join the ESA Group in representing leading Embedded Hardware, Embedded Software and TMI leaders and offer their solutions to the fast-growing India market.
Sales executives will be responsible for selling company products/systems and services to end-user customers in assigned territory, industry, or accounts, primarily through outbound and inbound telephone/email sales activities. As an integral member of the sales team, sales executives will support the Field Sales staff and may be asked to act as the sales representative for an assigned territory, industry, account, or product. Represent the company to the customer and the customer to the company in all sales-oriented activities. Focus on acquiring new customers and retaining and growing the existing installed base of customers. Sales executives may also be responsible for closing the sale on systems and products or may generate leads for Field sales staff. Sales executives may carry a team or individual quota.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be required to take on the following activities:
Product Positioning
Clearly Understand the Product Portfolio, Key Product Strengths and Unique Selling Points.
- Keep up with product and service information and updates.
- Attend regular online or in-person product training sessions to develop product expertise
- Stay informed about competing products and services.
Upsell products and services
Lead Generation & Product Promotion
Actively participate in sales stimulus activities including webinar/seminars, product shows, email campaigns & cold calling and help expand market/customer reach
- Effectively utilize sales resources including CRM, Linked-In and other customer databases to research market/new customer and connect with new prospective customers
Maintain and expand customer database of prospects within assigned territory
Customer Engagement
Possess excellent customer engagement skills and have marketing/sales acumen to identify prospective, develop leads, explain the products portfolio, addressing questions and help customers understand our TMI offering to the best possible extent.
- Understand customer needs/requirements while identifying sales opportunities
- Answer potential customers' questions and send additional information per email
Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
Regional Sales
Actively support sales team to identify new opportunities, build strong funnel and achieve regional sales targets
- Work collaboratively with local sales managers and engineers to speed sales
Update/Log activities in CRM track leads and opportunities, and run sales reports
Account Management & Customer Engagement
Work effectively with the sales team to develop and maintain a territory sales plan with focus on key accounts & new markets.
- Understand customer organizations by department, function, strategies, and key programs
- Develop leads and seek opportunities to present additional products to current customers
- Profile and explore deeper into key accounts to increase business opportunities
Requirements:
Qualifications include:
- Bachelors degree in Electronics and Communication (or equivalent) with 2 to 5 years successful technology field sales experience preferably in Test and Measurement field
- Highly motivated and success driven.
- Demonstrated track record of successful high-technology sales (4+ years experience). Sales/Inside experience in the Test and Measurement industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of the electronics industry highly preferred, but not required.
- Experience with tactical sales skills (prospecting, qualifying, closing, and growing existing customers).
- Experience working with or similar CRM
- Experience with computers, e-mail, and Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent verbal, written communications skills and presentation skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
