Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
Sales Account Manager
with
10–15 years of experience
in managing and growing large banking accounts, specifically government banking customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in
farming, account management, and client relationship management
, with the ability to identify new opportunities, ensure high customer satisfaction, and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management:
    Act as the primary point of contact for a strategic government banking client, building long-term trusted relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Account Farming & Growth:
    Drive account expansion by identifying new opportunities across IT services, digital transformation, cloud, and application services.
  • Revenue & P&L Management:
    Own account-level revenue and profitability targets, ensuring consistent business growth.
  • Strategic Planning:
    Develop and execute a strategic account plan aligned with client priorities and the company's offerings.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    Engage with CXO-level executives, IT heads, and business leaders to understand client requirements and deliver customized solutions.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with delivery, pre-sales, and solution teams to ensure seamless execution of client engagements.
  • Market Insights:
    Stay updated on the BFSI landscape, particularly government banking initiatives, to position the company as a preferred partner.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10–15 years of experience in
    Sales/Account Management
    within the
    IT Services / BFSI sector
    .
  • Proven track record in
    farming and managing large banking clients
    , preferably government/public sector banks.
  • Strong understanding of
    banking processes, digital transformation, cloud, and technology services
    .
  • Demonstrated ability to
    manage multi-million-dollar accounts
    with consistent revenue growth.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to link technology solutions to business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • MBA or equivalent preferred.
