The Opportunity

To strengthen sales governance, business intelligence, and performance management across Sattva's philanthropy business units (Foundations, Corporate Advisory, and Non-Profit).


The consultant will act as a central anchor to drive consistency, transparency, and insight-driven decision-making across the sales cycle — from pipeline tracking to deal conversion and renewal management — while supporting leadership on strategic initiatives and capability building within the philanthropy vertical.

Core Objectives
  1. Institutionalize sales governance rhythms across philanthropy BUs — ensuring consistency, accountability, and visibility.

  2. Develop and maintain business intelligence systems that provide real-time insights into sales health, pipeline strength, and revenue forecasts.

  3. Drive objectivity in deal governance and data hygiene, ensuring standardized classification and probability scoring across all teams.

  4. Support strategic capacity-building and organizational initiatives, especially around middle management development and cross-BU alignment.

Key Responsibilities1. Sales Governance & Rhythm Management
  • Design and implement structured sales governance cadences across all BUs:

    • Weekly: Deal movement and pipeline review.

    • Monthly: BU-level performance dashboards and insights.

    • Quarterly: Strategic retrospectives and learning reviews.

  • Create and maintain standardized governance decks that consolidate critical sales and renewal metrics for leadership review.

  • Track and drive closure on review action items, ensuring accountability with BU and sales leads.

2. Pipeline Health, Classification & Deal Governance
  • Standardize and implement deal probability guidelines (HPP/MPP/LPP) to ensure consistent and conservative assessment across teams.

  • Monitor deal movement within NetSuite, validating accuracy, data completeness, and reason codes for upgrades/downgrades.

  • Identify and flag deal risks, renewal dependencies, and systemic delays for leadership visibility.

  • Provide BU-wise intelligence on renewals, new leads, and GTM product sales to enable sharper business planning.

3. Business Intelligence & Analytics
  • Build and maintain Sales Intelligence Dashboards (via Excel, Looker Studio, or Power BI) tracking:

    • Pipeline composition and probability distribution

    • Win-loss ratios, average deal cycle time, and revenue realization

    • Sectoral trends and partner performance metrics

  • Generate monthly sales insight reports highlighting key trends, red flags, and actionable insights.

  • Integrate data from NetSuite, IDI, BRSR, and CSR databases to create multi-dimensional views of philanthropy performance.

4. Knowledge Management & Standardization
  • Develop a central repository of sales intelligence — proposal trackers, pricing references, case studies, and win/loss analyses.

  • Create standardized playbooks and templates for proposals, deal reviews, and pipeline reporting.

  • Strengthen sales enablement infrastructure (CRM hygiene, proposal libraries, BU knowledge sheets).

5. Leadership Support & Strategic Analytics
  • Prepare weekly and monthly CEO dashboards summarizing pipeline movement, renewal progress, and revenue forecasts.

  • Support Rathish and Abhishek in decision-making through data-backed pre-reads, insights, and briefing notes.

  • Analyze cross-BU sales performance, identifying structural gaps, emerging opportunities, and priority focus areas.

6. Cross-BU & Strategic Coordination
  • Coordinate with BU heads (Foundations, Corporate, Non-Profit) to ensure alignment on sales tracking and governance processes.

  • Liaise with Finance and Delivery teams to ensure forecast accuracy and operational readiness.

  • Support strategic initiatives beyond sales governance — such as middle management capacity-building programs, internal process strengthening, and special projects identified by the Central Philanthropy leadership.

Skills & Competencies
  • Analytical acumen: Ability to extract insights from data and visualize performance metrics.

  • Process discipline: Skilled in driving structured governance, consistency, and accountability.

  • Technical proficiency: Advanced Excel; familiarity with Power BI / Looker Studio; CRM (NetSuite) experience preferred.

  • Consulting mindset: MECE thinking, structured communication, and clarity in synthesis.

  • Stakeholder management: Ability to work across teams and influence without authority.

  • Communication: Strong presentation and narrative-building skills.

Ideal Profile
  • 4–6 years of experience in sales operations, business intelligence, consulting, or strategic PMO roles.

  • Prior experience in development sector, CSR, or impact consulting preferred.

  • Comfortable operating in multi-stakeholder, high-ambiguity environments with high ownership.
