PENNEP is looking for a dynamic Business Development Executive to drive growth for our client's online learning platform in short tem certification. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, onboarding instructors, building partnerships, and expanding our learner base across global markets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Expansion & Lead Generation

  • Identify and engage potential corporate clients, institutions, training partners, and individual creators.
  • Research global and regional trends to target new markets (India, Canada).
  • Generate qualified leads through outreach, networking, events, and digital channels.

2. Instructor & Course Acquisition

  • Onboard trainers, subject matter experts, and content creators.
  • Pitch platform benefits and negotiate commercial terms.
  • Support creators in course planning and publishing.

3. Corporate Sales & Partnerships

  • Build B2B relationships with companies for workforce upskilling partnerships.
  • Pitch learning solutions, subscription plans, and bulk licensing.
  • Maintain long-term strategic partnerships with universities, institutes, and organizations.

4. Pipeline & Revenue Management

  • Manage the sales funnel from prospecting to closure.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM tools and ensure achievement of monthly/quarterly targets.
  • Support leadership with forecasts, reports, and business insights.

5. Collaboration & Branding

  • Work closely with marketing to plan campaigns and demand-generation activities.
  • Participate in webinars, events, and workshops to promote the platform.
  • Represent the brand professionally and build strong industry networks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred).
  • 2–6 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, EdTech sector.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and convert leads into revenue.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, growth-driven environments.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with platforms like Udemy, Coursera, or similar EdTech models.
  • Prior exposure to corporate learning partnerships.
  • Understanding of online course creation and digital learning trends.
